Young DC Comics™ fans (and older ones, too!) can celebrate the 80th anniversary of the creation of Batman™ with this special anniversary edition Imaginext® DC Super Friends figure 5-pack. This incredible figure pack commemorates 5 iconic looks of the Caped Crusader™, from his first appearance in Detective Comics #27 and the Rainbow Batman™ of Detective Comics #241, to his Yellow Lantern™ look from Forever Evil #4, Kryptonite Batsuit from Superman/Batman #23, and an unmasked Bruce Wayne™ from Detective Comics #345. This incredible box set is a must-have for any Batman™ fan. Imaginext® Imagine What’s Next!™
Nothing new has been seen from the TTG! line. Cinderblock made a quick showing at Target, and almost immediately went to clearance. Rose/Ravager and Jinx/Red X showed up in Mexico and are now being spotted on pre-orders at Amazon.com.
You can try to pre-order your Red X now, with shipping in “1-3 months.”
Amazon once had a listing for Teen Titans Go! Balloon Man, after the TTG! to the Movies film was released, but nothing has ever surfaced from that.
Early in 2019, when many of the Toy Story 4 figures were spotted, an online catalog showed a TINY image of TTG! Batman and Starfire. I was excited a Commissioner Gordon would follow, so that they could have a sleepover… however no new images of this product have popped up. Let’s hope it is still coming out!
UPDATE – High Res photo was found!
New images of Clayface show it will come with a slime container like the Lazarus Pit’s Ooze. That explains what the trapdoor on his head, and action button are for. You will load the slime into his head, and press the red button to release Clayface clay-slime all over Robin.
Images of this new Clayface set and the new 2019 Joker Jaff Factory were found on Target.com, meaning we should see these released across the US.
The service.mattel.com site listed a new Jurassic World figure set, even though most figures are hitting the clearance sections at stores.
A new series of Jurassic World Egg Series was also reported, so perhaps a second wave is coming!
More Nickel City Con photos. Tony Todd, the Candyman, playing with Imaginext dinos!
Nickel City Con also gave us the first reveal on a new Clayface, with yellow eyes, and a signature ball mace fist, which resemble the look of the Batman the Animated Series Clayface. It looks like it has the red Imaginext action feature button behind his head, probably controlling his mouth movements.
I don’t think this one is big enough to “eat” other figures, but it does have a door/compartment on top of his head, so who knows what we will see in there. Hopefully, more photos from the con surface to see what this guy can do.
Fans who went to Nickel City Con at the Niagara Convention Center in Buffalo, New York were treated to the first ever Fisher-Price Play Zone. Members of the Imaginext Generation posted some photos of never before seen Imaginext figures and vehicles, including DC and non-licensed toys.
This Damien Wayne figure appears to be the Robin from the Fisher-Price GBL27 Imaginext DC Super Friends Clayface & Robin 2-Pack that showed up on Amazon 8 months ago, in September of 2018. An all-new Clayface was also spotted in the Fisher Price Play Zone!
The Fisher-Price Store and Aurora HQ are located less than an hour away from the Convention Center, so a few of the Imaginext designers were also spotted at the con.
Now showing up in stores and online.
The Joker has a new Laff Factory. The 2019 version features a Dunk Tank filled with piranhas, a Tilt-O-Hurl, and a what looks like a spinning elevator. The official product description is as follows:
The Joker™, iconic Super-Villain of Gotham City™, plans all his devious attacks from his evil lair, the Laff Factory. Power Pads bring all the action to life, including a spinning rocket ride, “swimming” crocodiles in the dunk tank, projectile launchers, and a spinning elevator! Kids can create exciting, villainous adventures with Batman’s foe and this action-packed playset. Imaginext® Imagine What’s Next!™
I don’t see the crocodiles, but maybe the description, or the product will change before it is released.
The previous Laff Factory looked more like a chemical factory, but the old listing on Amazon seems to have updated their description to match the new carnival style, so be careful if you try to order the old one
