Imaginext-Sized Star Wars Revealed at Toy Fair 2020. 2.5-Inch Scale Star Wars by Hasbro (Not Playskool) Arriving Fall 2020

Star Wars: Mission Fleet is revealed at Toy Fair. 2.5-inch scale which match Imaginext, and may be taking over the old Playskool Galactic Heroes/Jedi Force type toys. Initially, these appear to be branded as Hasbro, and not Playskool, so we may see more display-type pieces, including the Child, or “Baby Yoda” from Disney+ “The Mandalorian.”

Many Imaginext collectors also collected the old Playskool Heroes because the sizes were compatible. Playskool Heroes eventually changed their designs to arms that can be popped out to be mixed and matched, and then their scale and bulkiness changed completely. Hopefully Marvel will get a Hasbro Mission Fleet treatment for those that are not happy with the new style.

Imaginext Lobo & Motorcycle Found in Northern New Jersey

Great news for anyone who has been feeling that the new Imaginext releases are not making it to the US, this brand new set has been found in New Jersey.

The Batman 50th Anniversary sets have not been found in many retail stores in the states, although the 5-Pack is available on Amazon.com. Most sightings of the individual Batman 50th have been from Mexico. Mexico has also been the only reliable source of Teen Titans Go! Imaginext packs of Jinx & Red X.

There have been a few new Imaginext sets spotted online, but with no confirmation they will be produced, or ever hit shelves in the US. Today’s find is great news for everyone who has been feeling left out, or even concerned that Imaginext was nearing the end of life, or possibly getting cancelled.

Imaginext is here to stay, now let’s hope we see some of these sites on shelves soon: Teen Titans Go! Starfire & Batman, Jurassic World Dino Eggs Series 2, Jurassic World Indoraptor & Maisie, and of course, new Blind Bags!
