Masters of the Universe Imaginext XL Figures Coming Summer 2021. 3-Inch Figures Still an Eternia Away…

Fisher-Price designers announced at Power-Con the initial launch of Masters of the Universe Imaginext figures. XL size figures will come first. While they would not confirm any date for 3-inch figures, they stated “this time, next year” they will have more news on that.

So standard 3-inch Imaginext may be coming end of 2021, or it may just be an announcement, and fans must wait another Summer for their He-Man and Skeletor figures to take on Batman, Woody, Gru and Spongebob.

I can’t wait… but I must.

Introducing New Fans to the Franchise: Imaginext Masters of the Universe XL Action Figures (available summer 2021) and Little People (on shelves now): Whether it’s on planet Eternia or in the living room, preschool kids can play out all Masters of the Universe stories with these super-sized Imaginext Masters of the Universe XL Action Figures from Fisher-Price – the first introduction of the franchise to the Imaginext line. Reaching approximately 10-inches tall with a fully movable neck, shoulders, legs and wrists, extra-large He-Man, Skeletor, and Beast Man let young fans act out the most epic Masters of the Universe adventures. And, toddlers can join in on the fun with the Little People Collector Masters of the Universe set which features four figures, styled to look like classic characters He-Man®, Beast ManTM, Skeletor® and Man-At-Arms®

Mattel has revealed a collection of new toys, games, collectibles and exclusives tied to the “Masters of the Universe” franchise.

The toy company’s new “Masters of the Universe” releases include items from the Mega Construx, UNO and Imaginext lines. Each new product comes in leadup to the upcoming debut of a new “Masters of Universe” series on Netflix.

Imaginext “Masters of the Universe” XL action figures will be available summer 2021. The 10-inches tall figures come with fully movable neck, shoulders, legs and wrists. The items highlight franchise characters such as He-Man, Skeletor and Beast Man.

Little People has released a collection of figures for toddlers which are available now. The four figures are styled to look like classic characters He-Man, Beast Man, Skeletor and Man-At-Arms.

Mega Construx will join the releases with a “Masters of the Universe” Signature Series. The collection includes a fully-buildable Castle Grayskullwith more than 3,500 pieces, a Skeletor Skull Assortment, with three collectible Skeltor heads, and new Skeletor and Panthor sets. All new Mega Construx sets, including the buildable Panthor with velvet fur finish and Skelor micro action figures as well as a new Battle Ram with rolling wheels and working launchers will be available in November.

Uno will introduce a vintage “Master of the Universe” take on the classic card deck, with cards designed with the original franchise oil paintings by Williams George and Ruby Obero.

Mattel also revealed a new table-top roleplaying game called “Legends of Grayskull”. Created by the team behind “D&D Beyond,” Mattel reached a multi-year licensing agreement with Fandom to produce the tabletop roleplaying game where fans have the power to become “Masters of the Universe.” Players can customize or create their own characters to embark on adventures set within the world of Eternia and its twin moons. The entire experience contains a core roleplaying game, digital companion and toolset, a community content creation and sharing platform and an organized play program that gives fans the opportunity to participate in a connected, living story with other “Masters of the Universe” players around the world. The game is based on “Cortex Prime,” the latest iteration of the rules system from Fandom Tabletop’s Adam Bradford and Lead Designer Cam Banks.

Toy Story Slammers Are Coming

Earlier this year, at Toy Fair New York, Toy Story Slammers were mentioned in a series of Toy Story releases. The initial release included a picture that did not match the description. Later that weekend, DC Slammers were on display, and for the most part fans assumed the Toy Story Slammers were mistaken for the DC Slammers.

In a newly released Mattel 2020 Catalog, Toy Story Slammers are once again mentioned, along with the DC Slammers, and they have a different Mattel item number.

The translation is as follows:

Young fans can really get into action with these
Imaginext® Slammers ™ vehicles and Fisher-Price mystery figure sets. Open the tab, close the box and surprise!
Discover the mysterious Toy Story figure inside! Then use the pieces inside to build a super fun vehicle to make
